Renowned for premier education in business management, with research and industry partnerships placed on high priority
Prof. (Dr.) Mayank Dhaundiyal, Dean, Jindal Global Business School
At Jindal Global Business School (JGBS), we are dedicated to providing our students with an outstanding education that prepares them for success in their chosen fields and the best possible ecosystem for our staff and faculty members to help them realise their true potential. JGBS was recently recognised as the first Fairtrade Business School in India. We received this prestigious award from Fairtrade India and the Fairtrade Network of Asia and Pacific Producers. Fairtrade organisations are part of a global movement for trade that is grounded in responsible and sustainable business operations. Fairtrade brings together leaders, innovators, practitioners, and pioneers across the Fairtrade ecosystem to open up channels for responsible trade, green procurement, sustainability education, green finance, producer growth, and welfare, all aligned to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The recognition comes as a result of our commitment to sustainability, including planning and conducting research and capacity-building seminars on sustainability, circular economy and allied areas, taking part in Fairtrade campaigns, and teaching about Fairtrade cases in the classroom.
