Jindal Aluminium to Greater Heights of Glory

Jindal Aluminium, India’s largest Aluminium extrusion company, has been recognised as the ‘Star Performer’ in the large enterprise category for ‘Aluminium and Articles thereof’ at the Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) National Export Awards 2023 (in its 2019-20 edition). This prestigious accolade underscores the company’s exceptional export performance on a national scale.

The grand award ceremony, held in New Delhi on November 21, 2023, witnessed the presence of approximately 300 distinguished guests, including senior government officials and industry peers. The event was graced by the esteemed Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, and served as a significant gathering to recognise and celebrate outstanding achievements in the industry.

Mr. Pragun Khaitan, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Jindal Aluminium Limited, expressed his gratitude on the occasion, stating, “We’re humbled to be recognised with the ‘Star Performer’ award by EEPC for our unwavering dedication to excellence in exports. Founded by Dr. Sitaram Jindal in 1968, Jindal Aluminium Limited is a pioneer in manufacturing Aluminium products. With a state-of-the-art facility and expertise in manufacturing intricate Aluminium profiles, it is the largest producer of Aluminium extruded and the second-largest producer of Aluminium flat-rolled products in India. Jindal Aluminium is the first Indian Aluminium extrusion company with Hartford Steam Boiler (HSB) and ISO 9002 certification (currently revalidated as per IS/ISO 9001:2015). EEPC (Engineering Export Promotion Council) India has been the face of Indian engineering exports for over 63 years. As an advisory body, it actively contributes to the policies of the Government of India and acts as an interface between the engineering industry and the government. The EEPC award accentuates Jindal Aluminium’s unwavering commitment to stringent quality parameters and exceptional contributions to the nation’s export landscape. It is the fourth consecutive national award for the company and the 16th since its founding year, solidifying its contribution to Brand India. The company continues to set an example for ‘Vocal for local and local for global’ for two decades, with the first EEPC recognition received in the 2004-05 edition.
