Jaypee Business School (JBS) is a constituent of Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida. Started in the year 2007, it holds a very good reputation amongst the new generation business schools in India. The vision of JBS is “To become a Centre of Excellence for grooming management professionals for leadership in industries, organizations and venture into entrepreneurship.”

LEADERSHIP: JBS, a vision of Shri Jaiprakash Gaur was conceptualized and operationalized by Shri Manoj Gaur, Executive Chairman of the Jaypee Group, who is widely respected as a visionary and has successfully mapped and executed the massive expansion of the Jaypee Group in several sectors. Prof. S.C. Saxena,Pro Chancellor of Jaypee Institute of Information Technology has an impeccable academic record and an expertise in institute-building. He has constantly been a mentor and guide for Jaypee Business School. He was formerly Director, IIT Roorkee, Mentor Director, IIT Mandi and Director, Thapar University Patiala.

ACADEMICS: Jaypee Business School offers two programs; namely a two-year full time Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a three-year full time Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).

PEDAGOGY: All the courses offered use a mix pedagogical tools to support transfer of knowledge and skills. Class discussions, presentations, live projects, case studies and experiential learning exercises are an embedded feature in every course. Jaypee Business School was quick to rise to the challenges posed by the pandemic and has leveraged the advantage of a being part of an Information Technology institution and made a smooth transition to the online mode of instruction and evaluation, a practice which will in all probability be partially continued in the future too.

CAMPUS: The campus houses a world-class library which is well stocked with Indian and international books and journals. The infrastructure of the Institute includes facilities like lawn tennis court, full-size swimming pools (separate for boys and girls), indoor sports with billiards, snooker and TT tables and a well-equipped gymnasium facility both for boys and girls. A large number of club activities cater to a wide range of individual interests of the students. On campus hostel facilities for boys and girls provide the ambience of a home away from home. Extra-curricular activities are a strong focus of life at JBS. A distinct set of club activities cater to a wide range of individual interests and job requirements in the industry. Clubs serve the dual purpose of capability-building and individual invigoration.

PLACEMENT: We have had 89 % offers in 2022 MBA passed out batch.
