MY LEISURE TIME
I am most relaxed when I am with my children after a long hard day at work. My favourite outdoor activities include swimming and playing badminton. I do not have the time for active gyming, but I do little things, for eg taking the flight of stairs rather than the elevators.
WOMEN AS LEADERSHIP ROLE IN EDUCATION SECTOR?
A woman plays multifaceted roles by virtue of being involved across relationships. It is well known that a single educated woman in a household can spark a knowledge revolution in the family. It naturally helps steer society in the right direction. The first ladder of education, in fact, starts with the schoolteacher. It is considered to be vital for schoolchildren to enhance their personality. And that is primarily the reason women are given such an important leadership role in educational institutions.
INDIAN WOMEN IN THE NEXT 5 YEARS
Women are increasingly reflecting social change and can be found across sectors in this day and age–be it education, science and technology, agriculture, defence forces, law, or even politics. Over the years, the role of women in the urban and rural workforce has expanded exponentially and now women are on an equal footing with men across top jobs in the country–be it the president of India, or the finance minister, or even representing the country in sport. Surely, in the next five years, women will play a formidable role in the development of society and do things where no man has ventured before.
PERFECT WOMEN BALANCING FAMILY OR SOCIAL REFORMER?
Women have the added task of balancing family obligations along with the jobs they do. It is remarkable the way they balance the two and achieve the end result with consistency and clarity. Indeed, such dedication oftentimes is the driver of social transformation. A woman, therefore, is more than capable of delivering the twin objectives and deserves respect of the highest order.
SUCCESS REDIFINED
Nothing can replace the good old hardwork. Success is very simple to me – I set up an objective; I am a multitasker! sketch the roadmap desired to accomplish it. To me, success means the achievement of desired visions and planned goals.
