Yoga 3 Pro
This is arguably the best convertible notebook yet that runs Windows

Lenovo’s Yoga 3 Pro converts from a notebook to a tablet with great ease, thanks to its unique watch band hinge that folds back a full 3600. It is an assembly of over 800 individual pieces of steel and aluminium, and it works beautifully.
Lenovo has also introduced an interesting feature called Harmony that automatically adjusts the settings to optimise whatever application you are using; so if you are watching a movie, it will ramp up the volume, while if you are reading an ebook, it will adjust the brightness and contrast of the screen depending on ambient light so that it is comfortable to read.
At the heart of the Yoga3 Pro is the latest generation Intel Core-M processor. The machine breezes through everything, thanks to 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB solid state drive. Its Intel Broadwell chip ensures you get about nine hours of battery time.
Yoga 3 Pro’s edge-to-edge 13.3-inch touchscreen offers an incredibly high resolution of 3,200×1,800 pixels and the display looks like paper when you are reading your favourite blogs or emails. Photos are vivid and the videos are a pleasure to watch. Audio output is through JBL stereo speakers that offer immersive sound, whether you are watching a movie or playing a game.
This 1.18 kg, 12.8 mm thick machine feels light, and its design allows you to lie it flat on the desk to work with the team, convert it to a tablet, make it stand like a tent, or use it like a notebook.
It features a USB 3.0 port, an SD card slot and an HDMI video output. The thin profile of the machine makes heads turn, and its hinges look out of space, reminding you of why this was rated one of the best products at the CES earlier this year.
Overall, I won’t replace a Macbook Air with a Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro, but I will go ahead and say it is the best convertible Windows machine in the market today.
