Designed for competitive racing, the Rotwild GTS cycle lets you enjoy your ride even under the harshest of conditions. Its lightweight frame is made with high modulus carbon fibres that are moulded to ensure maximum stiffness with the ideal dampening qualities. The frame boasts of a Formula 33 fork with a remote lockout, Shimano’s XTR Di2 Drive system and Crank Brothers Cobalt 11 29-inch carbon wheel-set, ensuring comfort, speed and luxury either downhill or uphill.
The Shimano XTR Di2 electronic shift drive offers smooth control with instant response, giving you superb control over the experience. The multi-shift function on the Di2, coupled with its additional synchro- shift-mode, makes the front derailleur shift automatically, which spells slick gear-shifts without your having to lighten your grip on the handlebar.
A display unit lets you quickly glance and monitor important gear data, from gear selection to battery level to shift mode, letting you focus more on the trail ahead. An audible alarm warns you of an upcoming derailleur shift so that you can choose to stay in the same gear or let the Di2 automatically execute gear shifts.
While racing down mountain paths, one’s brakes need to be in fine fettle, and the GTS uses a newly developed series of lightweight disc brakes. The hydraulic disk brake, Formula AMG R1 Racing FCS, features a control system that allows tool-free adjustment of the lever’s contact-point to set your preferences and adapt to your ergonomic needs.
The GTS’s internal cable means that there is nothing you get stuck to. A BB92 press-fit bottom bracket offers greater efficiency while pedalling seated and more rigidity of the bottom bracket when riding on your feet. Crank Brothers Candy 3 Pedals ensure a great grip for your shoes and the Shimano XTR 36-26T ACS-Ring crank powers to the bike’s motion with no hitch whatsoever.
The Rotwild GTS is available in small, medium and large frame size with a carbon matt or a solarbeam glossy finish option.
