The best all-in-one for 3D gaming and entertainment on a Windows platform
This Lenovo computer, the B520, has specs that one can only boast about. It looks good in the brushed metal finish and gives fantastic performance with its 23.6 inch HD multitouch screen, SRS for premium sound, up to 16 GB RAM and a 2 TB hard disc drive. It is also 3D ready and integrates fast USB 3.0 ports as well as a TV tuner. High-end performance users as well as gaming enthusiasts will love it because it is the most powerful Windows all-in-one for now.
It can, claims Lenovo, do what no other all-in-one has been able to. The PC runs on second generation Core processors from Intel, codenamed Sandy Bridge. But if you insist, you can opt for the Nehalem based Core i5 or Core i7.
You can also choose from a multitude of Nvidia graphic chips. For optical storage, it has a Blu-ray drive, for external monitors there is HDMI, and to enhance the graphic experience, there is Nvidia 3D technology. If all this is not fast enough for you, you can opt for the sold state drive (SSD) option. Windows 7 Premium comes bundled with this machine.
For all its efficiency, Windows 7 is not designed for multitouch screens. The B520 overcomes this hurdle with Lenovo Enhanced Experience 2.0 for Windows 7. This add-on layer enables a huge set of features that a Windows PC would not have heard of.
There is also the optional 3-in-1 mouse, which adds to the immersive entertainment experience with motion drive gaming and air mouse functionality. I must say that the B520 is one of the best Windows 7 all-in-ones out there, and I am looking forward to trying it out.
