The Beosound moment from Bang & Olufsen features a detachable doublewide interface for two different experiences—on one side an elegant aluminium interface that has a touch screen to browse online music catalogues, manage your favourite playlists and share your music collection; flip it over, and you have a touch-sensitive oak surface that allows you to use the system intuitively.
The BeoSound Moment also introduces a brand new intelligent feature that adapts to your listening patterns and suggests music or radio programmes relevant to the time of the day and day of the week. An Advanced PatternPlay feature automatically memorises music patterns to make your listening experience both familiar and explorative, letting you discover interesting new artistes and tracks.
With access to over 35 million songs, the system uses cloud based music streaming services. It comes with a complimentary 12-month subscription to Deezer Premium+, though it may require you to use a VPN on your router to access this service.
The aluminium interface features the innovative MoodWheel. Express your mood to the BeoSound Moment and it will find the perfect sound track to match it. The multicoloured MoodWheel allow you to move from melancholic blue to a passionate red zone or an energetic yellow area. It activates an automatically generated playlist defined by your finger position on the wheel; the closer your finger is to the centre, the more familiar the music played, and the farther you are, more the music from the online catalogue.
The iPod changed how we listened to music, and Bang & Olufsen has made it simpler and more intuitive, letting you not only enjoy tracks you love, but also discover music that you are likely to.
