Goyal said that India's expanding network of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) would open up new opportunities for entrepreneurs in Uttar Pradesh, allowing them to reach international markets and expand their businesses.

Can global trade help Uttar Pradesh become a $1 trillion economy?

According to Goyal, the state's next phase of development will depend on its ability to strengthen exports, attract international investments, expand tourism and build global recognition for products and brands originating in Uttar Pradesh.

He said the state had emerged as an investment destination, supported by industrial policies and schemes aimed at encouraging businesses across sectors. The arrival of major corporations, he added, was creating new employment opportunities.

Goyal emphasised that greater coordination between the central and state governments, alongside participation from businesses, citizens and young people, would be essential to sustaining the state's economic momentum.

How is Uttar Pradesh building its industrial infrastructure?

The minister pointed to the development of expressways, modern airports and industrial parks as part of the state's efforts to strengthen its infrastructure and support trade and investment.

He also highlighted the expansion of industrial capacity in sectors such as defence, semiconductors, electronics and other high-technology industries.

The expansion of a large robotics manufacturing facility in Greater Noida, he said, reflected the state's growing technological capabilities.

These developments, according to Goyal, are helping Uttar Pradesh build the foundation for greater participation in global trade and progress towards its economic targets.

How can the UP International Trade Show connect local businesses with global markets?

Goyal said international events such as the UP International Trade Show provide businesses with direct access to global markets, creating opportunities for the state's products, cuisines and services to reach international buyers.

The event attracted participation from six partner countries, hundreds of delegates and exhibitors, and multiple buyer-seller meetings, he noted.

He said the combination of modern technology, international enterprises and the evolving craftsmanship and technical skills of the state's youth was contributing to its development.

With global market access expanding through FTAs, Goyal said Uttar Pradesh's entrepreneurs could benefit from opportunities in exports, investment and international recognition.

He called on the trade and industrial community to actively participate in the state's growth, stressing that cooperation between governments, businesses and citizens would be crucial to achieving its export and economic ambitions.
