Finding An Authorised Aadhaar centre Is Now A Cakewalk. Here’s How

In a significant push towards digital convenience, the Unique Identification Authority of India has signed an agreement with MapmyIndia to display authorised Aadhaar centres on the Mappls App.

The initiative is designed to provide residents with a verified, easy-to-use digital interface to locate Aadhaar service centres based on their needs, ranging from enrolments to updates.

Why is this partnership important for Aadhaar users?

The collaboration aims to eliminate confusion and misinformation around Aadhaar service locations by offering a trusted digital map. Users will be able to identify centres offering specific services such as adult enrolment, child enrolment, or updates to personal details like address and mobile number.

According to the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, the initiative will help citizens navigate Aadhaar infrastructure more efficiently.

"The collaboration is designed to enhance public convenience, combat misinformation, and ensure residents have seamless access to state-of-the-art Aadhaar Seva Kendras (ASKs) and other Aadhaar centres nationwide," the Ministry said.

How will the Mappls App improve access to Aadhaar services?

Once rolled out in the coming months, the integration will ensure that users searching on the Mappls App are directed only to authorised Aadhaar centres.

MapmyIndia will incorporate UIDAI’s verified database into its platform, ensuring accurate digital mapping, clear categorisation, and distinct listings of Aadhaar service points.
