Stargazer: Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Rajiv Menon and Ben Rekhi

 Riddhima’s Debut

 Neetu Singh is returning to the big screen for the first time since Jugjugg Jeeyo (2022) and now Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, her daughter, is making her debut. The mother and daughter will act together in ‘Daadi ki Shaadi’, which also stars comedian Kapil Sharma. While everyone knows Neetu Singh can act, all eyes will be on her daughter, last seen in The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives.

Rajiv in a New Role

 In 2000, he had directed superstar Mammootty in the iconic romantic musical Kandukondain Kandukondain, which was based on Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility. It’s fitting that filmmaker Rajiv Menon is now playing a key role in Mammootty’s upcoming film ‘Patriot’, along with Malayalam cinema’s other great, Mohanlal. Although he is primarily known for directing films, Menon has also acted in a range of movies. In ‘Patriot’, he plays the role of a corrupt regional official.

 Ben’s Code

Kanwal Rekhi was one of Silicon Valley’s earliest Indian tech pioneers. Now his son Ben Rekhi has made a moving documentary retracing his father’s path from a modest childhood in newly independent India to his rise as an innovator in America. The documentary, Breaking the Code, blends archival footage with inti­mate glimpses of present-day life. It was co-directed with Swetlana and had its premiere at the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles.
