‘Max, Min and Meowzaki’ is, on the surface, about the ownership of a cat but the film is also about belonging and buried sentiments. Medha Shankr and Siddharth Menon play Max and Min while Meowzaki is their cat whose custody becomes contentious when they break up.

Adil Hussain plays Max’s father and Mandira Bedi is his patient listener. It has taken three years but the film is finally ready for theatrical release.

J-pop Comes to India
