If Emraan Hashmi is having a moment with the release of Awarapan 2, can his co-star from the 2004 hit Murder be far behind? Mallika Sherawat is having the time of her life in the second season of the upscale Prime Video reality show, The Traitors India. She is one of the ‘Teen Deviyan’ contestants (the other two being Delhi philanthropist Shalini Passi and actor Shweta Tiwari). Sherawat is the queen of truth bombs and towering claims. Among the various things she has said on The Traitors are: Tom Cruise has a crush on her, Rhea Chakraborty needed a comeback after time spent in jail, and that if Sherawat is identified as a traitor, she will stop kissing on screen. Oh for the naughty noughties again.

Atul Mongia came to Mumbai in 2002 to be an actor and filmmaker but has gained fame beyond that. He is now a much sought after acting coach. Recently, Mongia worked closely with Shraddha Kapoor, helping her prepare for her upcoming film ‘Eetha’. He calls it an experience he enjoyed and describes his process as answering the question: who are you? Mongia had worked with theatre legend Barry John.

MobLand, which returns for its second season on Paramount+ in September, has some interesting characters, as is to be expected from a Guy Ritchie series. Many of them belong to the Harrigan clan headed by Conrad (Pierce Brosnan). Playing his daughter Seraphina is Mandeep Dhillon, a British-Indian born in Hertfordshire. Last seen in Sheep Detectives, Dhillon has built a career in film and television in the UK. MobLand has given her exposure across the pond as well, with roles in CSI: Vegas and After Life already in the bag.
