There are two rappers in conflict with each other. There is a hockey player who gets involved in the drug business through the pretty sister of one of the rappers. And then there is a female police officer who doesn’t want Chandigarh to become like Colombia. There are rehabilitation centres, shootouts in streets, rave parties, and brutal killings. At a time when there is so much self censorship on ideas that rock the boat, Lukkhe is a streaming series that sticks to the algorithm: sex, drugs and rap, with a healthy dose of Punjabi dialogue. The only bright spot in an otherwise lame set up is the casting: unusual faces such as Punjabi singer King, Lakshvir Singh Saran, and a very credible Raashi Khanna.
