Spirit is Vanga’s first film since Animal, the 2023 release starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna. The film earned more than Rs 900 crore worldwide and remains the highest-grossing film of his career.
Vanga announced his collaboration with Prabhas in 2021, and shooting on Spirit began in November 2025. Its release plans have changed several times, with earlier dates including March 2027 and December 2026 before the latest announcement.
