Kriti Sanon: On a High

 Someone please tell Kriti Sanon that playing a disturbed, liberated woman does not always involve drinking copious amounts of liquor and smoking incessantly. In yet another obsessive love story featuring Dhanush, directed by Aanand L Rai, Tere Ishk Mein, Kriti goes full filmy alcoholic and indulges herself just as she did in the lamentable 2024 Netflix movie, Do Patti. So much for younger, progressive women standing up for all women.

Samantha Reloaded

 Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been in the news as the new face of luxury, for speak­ing her mind in interviews and now for the upcoming Telugu movie ‘Maa Inti Bangaram’. The film is to be directed by BV Nandini Reddy, with whom she previously worked in the films Jabardasth (2013) and Oh! Baby (2019). ‘Maa Inti Bangaram’ is a thriller and features Samantha in an action avatar. Acting alongside Samantha in the movie is Gulshan Devaiah, fresh off the success of Kantara Chapter 1. The film is being produced by Samantha’s production banner, Tralala Moving Pictures, along with Himank Duvvuru and Raj Nidimoru (with whom she is said to be in a relationship). Raj is one half of the duo Raj & DK who turbo-charged Samantha’s career with the second season of The Family Man.

 Mallika on the Move

 Mallika Sherawat sure does get out and about. Her latest photo was with South Korean maestro Bong Joon-Ho, whom she declared she was a big fan of. Mallika was last seen as an oversexed aunty in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video (2024). At 49, Mallika seems ageless.
