Ahaan Panday’s post-Saiyaara gamble: Will Beparwah with Sharvari change his screen image?

Ahaan Panday’s next big-screen romance comes with a twist: there is a gun in his hand, a guitar beside Sharvari and a promise of being “Fearless in Love”. The first poster of Beparwah, unveiled by Yash Raj Films on October 26, offers little about the plot but raises two intriguing questions. Can Ahaan move beyond the image he established with Saiyaara? And what might his first on-screen collaboration with Sharvari bring to the screen?
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Aditya Chopra, the romantic action-drama is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on March 26, 2027. The title is out, but the characters and story remain under wraps, leaving the poster to do much of the early talking.

Can Ahaan Panday move beyond Saiyaara with Beparwah?
For Ahaan, the challenge is not simply to deliver another romance. His acting debut, Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara, opposite Aneet Padda, made him one of Hindi cinema’s most talked-about young actors in 2025. The film’s emotional love story and music helped establish his screen identity.
Now, Beparwah appears to offer a different test. The romance remains, but the action imagery suggests a more physically intense world. A gun replaces the guitar-playing romantic hero’s familiar visual shorthand, although the poster alone cannot tell us what kind of character Ahaan plays.
The shift could help him demonstrate range rather than repeat the formula that brought him attention. But there is a balancing act: audiences who connected with his vulnerability in Saiyaara may still want that emotional openness, even if the new film surrounds it with danger and spectacle.
Why have Ahaan Panday and Sharvari been paired for the first time?
The other question is chemistry. Beparwah brings Ahaan and Sharvari together on screen for the first time, giving the film a new pairing to build rather than relying on an established audience relationship. Sharvari arrives with a varied filmography that includes Munjya, Maharaj and Alpha. Her growing presence in Hindi cinema gives the makers an opportunity to create a pairing that feels fresh, rather than positioning her simply as the romantic counterpart to a breakout male star.
The poster leans into that contrast. The two stand close, their foreheads touching, while the gun and guitar introduce an apparent tension between danger and creativity. It is an effective first-look image, but whether that contrast translates into a compelling relationship will depend on the script and performances.
What does Ali Abbas Zafar’s YRF return mean for Beparwah?
The film also reunites Zafar with YRF, the banner behind his earlier films Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. Those projects established his credentials in large-scale commercial storytelling; Beparwah gives him a chance to combine action with a younger romantic lead.
The film also features Bobby Deol and Aaishvary Thackeray, adding further intrigue to a story whose details have yet to be revealed.
For now, Beparwah is less a plot announcement than a career question. Ahaan has already shown that he can anchor a much-discussed romance. His next challenge is to make audiences believe in a different kind of love story, and to find a new screen rhythm with Sharvari.
