A princess married into a political family, another young princess left to handle the palace-hotel, a young prince who is addicted to cocaine and sex, and yet another illegitimate prince lurking in the shadows, always ready to pick up the pieces and take the blame. The purported kingdom is Bikaner and only a lease to a major hotel chain stands between the royals and complete bankruptcy. There are several sub plots worthy of an Ektaa Kapoor serial (surprise, surprise, the series is produced by her production house) and enough diverse sexualities to choose from. Nimrat Kaur is quite a worthy Rani Sahiba, her chiffons, pearls and dark glasses in place. Amol Parashar is willing to be disliked in a role that demands him to be beastly to everyone while Gaurav Arora has perfected the art of looking mysterious and tragic at the same time. The series will also allow you to practise your 'hukums' and 'khamma ganis' with another show on the royals of Rajasthan ready to drop next week.
