We have all heard of method acting, but how about method promoting? Wamiqa Gabbi, a young woman from Chandigarh, had made her debut as a child artist in Jab We Met in 2007. Now, she has made a mark as Titli in Bhool Chuk Maaf, which just released. This is a film about a man stuck in a time loop. Gabbi, as Titli, plays a young woman from Varanasi, and is dressed for the part, with tiny bejewelled butterflies (titli) in her ears and hair.
Jena as Simran

Jena Pandya seems to have been prepping for the role of Simran in the stage musical version of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, which is Come Fall In Love – The DDLJ Musical. Pandya also had roles in the stage musical versions of Mamma Mia! and Bhangra Nation. Now playing at the Manchester Opera House, the DDLJ musical features the British-born Pandya as Simran and Ashley Day as the British Roger, standing in for our very own Shah Rukh Khan. Day was previously seen in the reboot of the TV series Dynasty (2017).
Massey Turns Guru

Vikrant Massey as Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is a role no one saw coming. Massey has spent some time studying both the guru and his philosophy, continuing in his exploration of right-wing ideas which begun with The Sabarmati Report (2024) where he played a reporter fighting the establishment to expose the truth. The film focuses on Ravi Shankar’s role in resolving the 52-year-long Colombian civil war.
