The Jalandhar-born Paramvir Singh Cheema is having a moment on streaming with two series breaking at almost the same time. And for someone who has been struggling in Mumbai, giving auditions aplenty since 2016, the success couldn’t be sweeter. The actor first broke through with SonyLIV’s Tabbar in 2021, having sat at home in Jalandhar through Covid, and from then on, it has been a steady ascent, with a role now in ‘Border 2’. The nicest moment for his Sikh father who supported him throughout? That he wore a turban for his role in Tabbar.
