Her look in the show, wearing mostly Anamika Khanna or Falguni and Shane, and her cool vibe in interviews has suddenly put her front and centre of the ensemble cast.

Neil Nitin Mukesh Is Back

There was a time when Neil Nitin Mukesh was Bollywood’s bright young thing. Sriram Raghavan’s Johnny Gaddaar had been released in 2007, Kabir Khan’s New York was coming up—everything looked as rosy as the actor’s cheeks. But then, much like Vivek Oberoi’s, his career took a downturn. But he’s back in Hai Junoon, Jio Hotstar’s lavish production about a singing and dancing competi­tion between two groups, the Supersonics and the Misfits.

Second Chance

From a primary school teacher in Manali to an actor in an acclaimed debut feature film, Dheera Johnson has come a long way. She stars in Subhadra Mahajan’s festival favourite feature Second Chance, which is getting a theatrical release in June. Johnson, of mixed heritage, is a Kathak dancer and is now studying acting at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute on a scholarship.
