Charithra Chandran: Going Places

The British Indians starring in Bridgerton are going places. After Simone Ashley, now it's Charithra Chandran's turn to shine in 'Schooled', a brand-new six-part comedy series from writer and creator Delia-René Donaldson for Channel 4. It is said to be based on Donaldson's own experi­ences in pastoral care at a London acad­emy, blending sharp humour and a heartfelt celebration of the unsung heroes of the UK education system.

 Sheena's Success

Sheena Chohan wanted to fulfil the ambitions her mother had for her, even if it meant going from Bhatinda to Kolkata to Mumbai. Her debut was opposite Mammootty in The Train in 2011. Since then she has worked across languages and genres, including The Fame Game (2022) and The Trial (2023), both on OTT. Her latest role is in the upcoming film 'Sant Tukaram' with Subodh Bhave. Chohan has given her whole heart in her portrayal of Sant Tukaram's wife Avali Jija Bai, as she has done in her work as a human rights activist.
