Twitterspace is mourning the abrupt departure of @j_jayalithaa. Having raised tweeple’s (what people are apparently called in the twitter world) curiosity with tweets like ‘Expect a development on Feb 3’ and ‘What did I say’ (the references being to former Telecom Minister A Raja’s arrest over the 2G scam), the author had pretty much convinced everyone that this was the real deal. Now the AIADMK Chief has issued a clarification requesting her friends and followers not to be misled by the tweets. She need not worry, though. Her imposter has decided to call it quits. @j_jayalithaa is no longer with us. Its followers will have to make do with the real world for now.
